Default Americans Are Passionate About Hockey

Quote:
BOISE, Idaho — A handful of Idaho hockey fans have filed a potentially class action lawsuit against the owner of a Boise arena, contending that they were victims of a beer scam, paying more for a "large" beer that held the same amount of liquid as a "small."The lawsuit, filed in Boise's 4th District Court on Tuesday, contends that Block 22 LLC, which does business as CenturyLink Arena, defrauded customers by fooling them into thinking that a tall, narrow cup of beer sold for $7 was substantially bigger than a shorter, wider cup sold for $4.

Mike Campbell with Block 22 said he hadn't yet seen the lawsuit and so couldn't comment.Brady Peck, Michele Bonds and William and Brittany Graham are asking for damages exceeding $10,000.The controversy began Monday after a video was posted showing that there is little difference between the amount of beer in the large and regular beers. The video was posted by Gwen Gibbs, who attended the Steelheads' game with Las Vegas on Saturday night.

So now they'll get rid of the small beer and people will just have to pay $7 all the time instead of getting a large for the small price.

Silly Mericans.

I dunno. If I make a discovery like that............I'm spending all my money on small beers. Not lawyers.

Stupid move by the concessions company. Don't really see why it should be against the law though.
