Default Ralph Krueger Named Chairman of Southhampton

Not really hockey news but wanted to put this here because it seems like a really weird move for Ralph Krueger.

Went from coach of the Oilers, to adviser for Team Canada, to Chairman of an EPL team.

Thought he might have gotten another shot in the NHL after the glowing recommendation from Team Canada brass, and the fact that the Oilers were even worse this season without him.

Good. The Saints can sell United Luke Shaw on the cheap.

Hes supposedly a very bright and talented executive. He got the Oilers their best finish in years and thats borderline miraculous.

He might still be a little gun-shy regarding Skype though.

Why would Luke Shaw accept a lateral move?

I believe he was referring to how bad the Oilers were.

Oilers made a mistake firing him. He's a good coach and played a big part in getting Canada ready for Sochi. Best of luck in the EPL to him.
