The Great Beer Debate: Can or Bottle
There have been many a thread started on here regarding beer.
However I'm curious on people's thoughts on bottled beer versus canned beer.
Bottles seem more traditional, there's just something that seems right about drinking out of a bottle (be it beer or Coke or whatever).
Cans have greater volume, and are easier to transport, besides you pour it into a glass anyway right?

Doesn't matter.
Like someone above said, the ideal way is in a glass no matter whether it came in a bottle or can.
There are plenty of amazing beers that come in a can.

I really dislike drinking from a can and avoid it whenever possible. As people have said, camping and beach and places you can't bring glass.
Bottles are good. Often when I'm at a bar I'm drinking draught though, so a glass.
I may sometimes purchase cans for home, as I can just pour it in one of my beer glasses.
I just get a weird metallic taste when I drink from a can. It's weird, I have no fillings, but still tastes wrong to me.

Cans usually. They make bottle depot trips a little easier

Depends on the beer and scenario.
Cheap beer, camping, sporting events, stuff like that, definitely can.
Anything else; bottle

Anyone know why those aluminum bottles haven't made their way up to Canada?

Are those like the Molson resealable cans that I cut my hands to shreds on?

From bottle to glass whenever possible. Canned beer seems to taste a little sour to me most of the time.

Bottle, but much like preferring cork for wine better get over it.
Cans are the way of the future. Brewers have decided cans are just the way to go for many reasons.
Truth is, you should be pouring whatever you drink into a glass anyhow.

I didn't read any of the above. The liners used today are so neutral it doesn't matter when pouring. You can't tell the diff, some micros are going can to save on shipping cost.
