I thought with salary retention any team could still take Cammy. If not, Carolina is out and NJD are out. Shame, I really would've liked some Devils defence prospects.

Man, I'd have liked Loktionov. Meh. Good for both teams.

Outside of a brief stint when Loktionov played well with Kovalchuk last year he has not proven to be a good NHL player.

He has been a healthy scratch for the Devils this year and was traded for a 5th round pick last year.

The Devils still have 2.7 in space. Technically with a 50 percent salary retention and demoting a player to the minors, the Devils still have room for Cammi.
