The most anonymous 1000 game player in NHL history.
Finally escapes Nashville, just in time to join a Detroit team on the way down.

According to @GMillerTSN, Preds get Patrick Eaves, a prospect and a 3rd-round pick for Legwand

Rumor is the prospect is Calle Jarnkrok. Good trade for the Preds if true.

according to TSN panel there are rumblings that Jarnkrok could be heading back to Europe after this season and Nashville will have to convince him to stay

He'll want NHL minutes. Thats about the only thing that will likely keep him around.

I'm thinking Nashville has room for him if that's the case. Detroit's approach of bringing prospects along sloooooowly has its merits, but this shows it also has risk.

With Nashville's vacant lineup offensively, Jarnkrok could likely step in now.

they'll surely give Jarnkrok NHL time now in order to keep him around.

it should be stated that people in the detroit front office are saying they hadnt heard any demands about leaving for europe. so its all speculation at this point.

Nashville gets the nod for this trade. Legwand for a 3rd alone would have been fair, not great but fair.

yeah. Jarnkrok and a 3rd is a fine return for the Preds in my book. It'll all depend on whether Jarnkrok stays and if so, how he'll develop, but from what I've seen and heard, he's a really promising prospect.
Nashville is slowly turning into Detroit light with all those Swedes. Hornqvist, Stalberg, Ekholm, Forsberg, Jarnkrok, Hellberg, Aberg.

Like Nashville wants to go through the process of having yet another flight-risk player.
