Glad that Jackman has worked out for them.
I remember two years ago when the Flames did nothing at the trade deadline and then Feaster re-signed Jackman, even though there was interest from the Sharks, I wonder what they were offering up at the time.

Good signing for them, brings to the team exactly what he's supposed too.
Always liked him, just not a good piece for a rebuild. Glad he's working out in Anaheim.

I think there was rumour of them offering a 2nd if I'm not mistaken.

You can't be serious? I would have thought a 4th or 5th round pick at most as if Feaster turned down a 2nd for Jackman he should have been fired on the spot.

Like I said, I believe that was a rumour that was going around. I seem to remember quite a few posters being choked Feaster did t trade him. Perhaps some other posters can shed some light on this?

It was a joke that Feaster didn't trade the guy, but good for Tim on his new deal.

I liked Jackman, but if anyone thinks any team seriously offered a second rounder for him, I have swamp land in Florida to sell them.

I liked him the first year with the flames, then never really played the same way. Take Bouma all day long. plus couldn't fight, give him kudas for always having to take the big guy on other team. Hope it continues to work out for him with his new contract!!!
