I decided just to replace my water cooler after seeing one at Costco with some crazy 'self clean' feature. As such I have a nice looking water 'dispenser' available. Basically this water cooler does not work as a cooler anymore, what I think happens is that it freezes up, because when plugged in it basically stops dispensing. We like room temperature water, and have been using this as a dispenser only. Has hot water feature that we never used, and I'm unsure if it's working. When plugged in, and it stops working, there seems to be water dripping from the back, which may be ice melting...not sure.
I suspect you could get this repaired for way less than the cost of a new one. Free!
