Ugh, Caps up 3-2. The Panthers are pretty much the Oilers of the East. Watch them draft top 2 again.

Good to see the Islanders are still holding on to that 2-1 lead over the stinkin' Leafs after two periods of play.

After two periods of play
The Devils lead 4-2 over the BJs. The BJs were down 3-0 in the first period but made it close until Henrique scored a shorthanded goal with 19 seconds remaining in the second period.

The Habs and Penguins are tied at 3-3.

The Rangers continue to hang on with the 1-0 lead over the Blackhawks. Bressard scored back in the first period.

The Sharks now lead 6-2, Torres scored with three seconds left in the period. Mason was pulled after four goals, Emery took over in the Flyers net midway through the second period.

The other lopsided score has Detroit winning 6-1 over the Senators midway through the second period. The Red Wings lead 4-0 after the first period. Johan Franzen has a hattrick. Lehner let in all six goals and is now on the bench, Andrew Hammond is now in goal for Ottawa.

After one period of play
The Coyotes and Jets are tied 1-1.
The Lightning lead 2-0 over the Predators.

In the first period, the Stars are up 2-0 over Carolina. Seguin scored the opening goal and Dillon scored a shorthanded goal.

Dallas is playing way above Carolinas ability so far. Hurricanes look flat.

Shannon is delusional with his current opinions on various teams.

Hes not wrong. Most of the Oilfans I know thought they were going to make the playoffs this year.

'Hope' can be synonymous with 'delusional.'

Isles tie it up! Implications are positive two fold if they win. They beat those dirty leafs, and they get points to stay ahead of the Flames.

Edit: NVM, Isles just gave one up. 4-3 leafs.
