At least everyone is getting healthy (knock on wood)

Hopefully some of the UFA's start getting shipped out soon.

In the meantime, the Heat could really get a boost from Jones returning....and I'm sure he will be back when trades/injuries occur.

He seems pretty noticeable to me every time he's on the ice, pretty tenacious and good speed. Just never seems to be able to hold down a permanent spot with the big club. Solid depth player, though.

He'll make it back down fine I think. Can't remember how well he played except for the fight vs Vancouver. I'm sure that he'll spark the Heat.

Should have been Galiardi. Guy is terrible.

He hasn't had a good season but I thought he played well lastnight.

The only time I noticed him last night was when he would turn over the puck. He looks worse than Blake Comeau did.

I agree that TJ Galiardi hasn't been a great player this season, but the hometown boy seems to have added jump in the last two weeks. He's assisted on two of Moneyhands goals.

Will keep an eye on him but I feel Galiardi is back and hungry after being scratched a few times.

I hope so because I really thought he could have been a good addition at the start but what a disappointment.

Since he's been put on the line with Colborne and Monahan he's been much better.

Agreed his speed and grit opens up a lot of space for those 2

Abby could really use Jones back.

Galiardi has definitely been better of late

Likewise, especially after a decent season with San Jose.

I think Hartley got him to focus on the basics on where he's good, his foot speed and aggression on the forecheck. If he can round those two off into form he'd be a very serviceable 3rd line checking winger who can occasionally pot a goal or set one up. Decent chemistry with Monahan too.

We only gave up a 4th rounder for him and his contract is dirt cheap (1 year, 1.25 mill) so if he dissolves into garbage again we can just let him walk at the end of the season, but I hope homeboy plays awesome and earns another contract.

I wonder if he (Jones) gets re-signed?

The only shoe in to be re-signed is Russell.
