Flames Flames @ Flyers 11:00am MST SNET-W

Puck drops in an hour and a half but figured I'd make a thread anyway

Hudler - Backlund - Stempniak
Cammalleri - Monahan - Colborne
Bouma - Stajan - Jones
Westgarth - Galiardi - McGrattan

Brodie - Giordano
Russell - Butler
Smid - Wideman

Berra

Lines are from yesterdays practice and could change. Hartley said Westgarth will be in but didn't say who he's replacing in the lineup so this is part speculation.

Westgarth's insertion into the lineup again could be due to the fact that the Flyers lead the NHL in both penalty minutes and in majors.

Berra will get the start again. “I don’t think it would be very honest to not put Reto [Berra] back [in] and after the game he gave us [in Long Island],” Hartley said. “I think it’s normal that he goes back in net tomorrow.”

The last time these two teams played was in Calgary on New Years Eve. The Flames lost 4-3. Calgary has won 5 of the last 6 times they've played in Philly.

With a long break coming up, I think this one gets pretty nasty. Crazy prediction: Mikael Backlund drops the mitts today.

I hope both Hudler and Backs fill up the highlight tapes for their countries respective coaches to get salty over when they come back to civilization and have access to running water/ the internet

Would love to see Hudler tear it up tonight. The fact he's still not on the Olympic team after yet another injury is an absolute joke.

Luckily Hudler is better on the ice than he is on the basketball court.

I'm never satisfied with the level of "cold" many beverages get over there.

It's just not right.

Philly comes in with their collective mind on the Olympic break and Calgary comes in with the same hard working effort we have seen most of the season..

6-1 Flames

Daughter is sick and wants nothing more than to cuddle in bed. Coincidentally, at 2 1/2, she's finally starting to love watching hockey. Win win for an early game.
