I hate this guy for one good reason and one crappy reason.

Good reason: He plays for the Canucks.
Bad Reason: He has the same last name as a woman I dated who ended our year long relationship with a text message.

So yeah Coitus Sestito. Loser.

Omg Nolan refused to man up for his hit on a sedin?

Maybe the sendins should be taken to task and forced to man up every time they do their job and score a goal......

Ed Whalen would have put him in his place.

Sestitio's a tool. Can't stand that guy. I didn't like him in Philly and I hate him in Vancouver. Sorta like how I felt with Perron when he was in St. Louis.

Wow I love the tears from the hack announcers. They remind me of when I was 14 watching a game with my friends.

Honestly, we make fun of Kerr and the gang, but how glad am I that we don't have those homers calling our games? Yikes.

But at least the Canucks got a moral victory in LA.

The banter after that game has been hilarious. Starting with Gillis, Canuck Nation has been crying about goon hockey, and how the NHL is not calling the rules.

Canucks play one gritty, tough game (basically LA/ Boston style), now they're back to cup contenders and everyone loves this type of play.

If only they could convince the Sedin's to show up during games like this they might have a shot.

I hate this mentality that players have to "answer the bell" when they make a big hit. I didn't see the hit on the twin, but if it is clean what is the big deal. The game is meant to have hitting.

PS: stupid Canucks

If it was the one I saw, he didn't even hit him. The Sedin avoided it.

Just for the record, Garrett used to do a lot of colour for Flames games, especially when Whalen was PBP. Garrett was as much a homer for the Flames during those telecasts as he is for the Canucks now. Doesn't bother me--they're kind of supposed to be like that for the home fans.

What's more homer-istic to me is the comment from Arndt of the Province:

“Alas, poor 6-3 Jordan Nolan wasn’t feeling up to the task, so he refused to drop his gloves. On one hand, good job on Nolan for drawing the penalties. On the other hand, his likability rating drops into the minuses for refusing to own up to his hit.”

So, his likability drops because he played like a Canuck?

First things first...John Garrett is a moron. Why did Sestito get a penalty? Are you serious?

Second...Sestito can't count to three so I expect something like this from him.

Third...he will get pummelled on Saturday by Grats, like usual when they play the Flames.

Jordan Nolan shouldn't have to answer the bell when taking the body. Torts sent out that meat sock to fight Nolan. Nolan declined, which he had every right to do. He went to hit one of the sisters and barely hit him.

I hate the Canucks A LOT. I really can't stand them.

However, Nolan definitely stuck out his leg when he hit Sedin. It wasn't extremely dirty, but I understand Sestito's response. Nolan didn't drop the gloves, which I feel sort of "meh" about. If you hit a star player, you should expect to fight (whether that's right or wrong, I don't know).

Nolan should have sat for two. Sestito was an idiot, though I get why he decided to be an idiot.
