The Flyers are looking good against the Habs. They are skating fast and effective penalty killing. Raffl just scored and Mezaros has three assists so far, 3-0 Flyers in the second period.
The Rangers have a 2-0 lead after one period. Lundqvist has stopped all 13 shots so far and has an assist.

The 'Hawks had a lot of possession, but too often failed to convert possession into shots...both goalies let in one bad goal, but in the end, the Blueshirts ended up with more efficient finishing to take a excitingly played 3-2 road win.

Flyers, 5th place on the conference, what? Didn't they have like a 0-10-0 start or something?

They were brutal at the start, 1-7-0 before they won 2 in a row. Since Dec. 9 when they lost 7-2 to the Bhawks, the Flyers have ramped it up and that streak started with a 2-1 home win against the Habs on Dec. 12.

Short OOT but good games. The Rangers on the road surprise the Bhawks with a 3-2 reg win. Crawford kind of blew it as he carelessly tried to shoot the puck out of the Bhawks zone which led to Hagelin's GWG. Lundqvist played well in net as he faced 37 shots. The Avs win 4-3 over the Senators in OT. Must be heartbreaking for the Sens as they had the 3-2 lead with 2:20 left in reg time. Stastny ties it, Tyson Barrie and Landeskoghad the assist. Then 33 seconds into OT, the same line wins it with Barrie scoring the GWG. The Flyers win 3-1 and Steve Mason could have had a shutout but Plekanec scored a SHG late in the 2nd period. The Habs had no real offensive push, just 11 shots in the last 2 periods.
