Former Canadian Defense Minister Discloses Presence of Aliens

Sorry if this is covered off in some other thread. A friend sent this to me today, I thought it was interesting enough for discussion.

Paul Hellyer was Canadian Defence Minister under Pearson in the 60's. He testifies here that not only do aliens exist and have been visiting Earth for awhile, but a couple other 'tidbits' that have purposely been kept secret.

Is it the fact this guy's 90, potentially insane, or is this a legitimate disclosure that gets mocked since it would be, literally, one of the biggest public disclosures of our generation.

Why isn't this all over the news, anywhere? Why isn't this the talk of the town? Is this guy similar to that crazy aliens meme guy that will almost certainly follow this post?

What do you think? I don't claim to take any one position, just thought this would be potentially hilarious and/or interesting to see what Calgarypuck has to say.

Hellyer has always been a little excentric.

As I've mentioned before while he had some decent ideas, he single handedly destroyed the moral of the Canadian Forces for nearly a generation.

Lulz - I have no doubt that in a universe this size there is very likely the possibility of life on other planets. I personally don't think that if they are as intelligent as us they have been able to over come the same obsticals we face when it comes to space travel over long distances. very little outside our own galaxy is even within our reach... heck the probe going to Pluto has a 10 year journey and is still not there.

That said, it's always a fun topic. *puts on Tin foil Hat*
