The Sean "Moneyhands" Monahan
We probably already have a 'fricken' thread but this kid deserves the accolades.
So far, I haven't seen anything that give me pause.
I like his maturity, effort, decisions, the little bobble head move on the shootout, the class...all of it.
He's been the class of the league for rookies this year, IMHO.

I said it in the GT. He is the future of the Flames.

One of the main reasons rebuild year #1 has been fun to watch..
With Baertschi coming around too, could be a lot of fun..
Now let's get a few more young guys up..

As long as the Heat are winning I see no reason for them to rush more rookies into the lineup.

I have his jersey in our regular colorway BUT the retro is a way nicer one

I would love Hartley to refer to #23 as Money in a after game interview that would make my day.
"the pass came to Money, he put it in the back of the net and he won the game for us"
The kid is growing on you come on Hartley you know you want to call him Money

Because it's the only nice looking jersey the Flames have had

Yea the retro is way better, but if it was me I would rather have his name on a jersey that he has worn. It still looks good though. I should really get a Monahan jersey. Probably the new 3rd.
Also, Monahan seems like a player that should be wearing #19. It just seems like it would suit him.
