Hmmm...he hasn't been great when he has played, but you can't teach size...I'm thinking a few teams take a long look at him.

Not that surprising, not a good skater.
In the game in Anaheim, I believe it was Koivu who made Breen look like a complete pylon.
Best of luck to Christopher Breen though.

Yes but you can teach skating which he lacks. He'll pass through. Overrated value in our organization.
I expect Smith or Galiardi to be next on waivers

As usual, when the Flames put a guy on waivers, it's either:
1) Gets claimed, good....freed up contract spot, etc..
2) Passes through, good....bolster an already strong Heat team...

Never saw anything in him except that he was a funny contrast to Johnny Gaudreau. Hopefully he helps out the Heat.
