Icon20 Cheering for the Flames vs. cheering for Iggy.

I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's Flames/Bruins game and the return of Iggy. I'm lucky enough to have tickets, and I'd love to see Jarome score a goal, but I definitely want to see the Flames win, especially after what the Bruins did to us last year.

I know I will see more than a few people wearing Bruins jerseys with #12 on them in the Dome. Presumably anyone wearing one of those was an Iginla fan when he played in Calgary. Who will those people want to see win the game?

Depending on the situation I'll probably cheer pretty loudly if Iginla scores one. Especially if he blasts one coming down the wing.

I won't outwardly cheer if Iginla scores, but if he does score in this particular game, I'll have a giant grin on my face and a warm spot in my heart. After that, all bets are off and Iginla will be the enemy. I don't wish for anything bad to happen to him, just don't want him to have success against us after this game.

Why would I cheer for Iginla? Been there done that for how many years. Nope, I cheer for the Flames although I wish Iggy well.

Cheering for Iginla if he scores? No thanks. I am a Flames fan, not a Bruins fan.

No matter what tomorrow will be an awesome game. Winning would be sweet, but i really just hope Iggy gets a good salute from the fans.

I cheer for the flames first, but if there is any loss I could handle, tomorrow night is the night.

How about a a 4-3 shootout win by the flames... Iginla gets a hat trick and scores in the shootout. Baertschi scores a goal and 2 assists and also scores in the shootout. I'll be cheering for everything if that happens.

Not gonna lie, I'd probably cheer if Iggy potted one. Sure, I'm still a Flames fan, but doesn't mean I can't be an Iggy fan as well, especially right now when wins don't really mean all that much to the Flames. I'd still cheer for Flames to win, but I wouldn't be too upset if they didn't and Iggy was first star.

On another note, I think it'd be neat if Behind the B's did some coverage on Iggy's return and the game itself.

How is this even a question? Cheer for the Flames without a doubt, but its fine to want Iginla played well.

Ill be at the game sporting my Iggy jersey. This is an extra special game because of Iggy. I have a final worth 50% Wednesday afternoon in Lethbridge but I am am making the trip to Calgary for the game. I don't think I would do that for any other game. I am ultimately cheering for the flames but I do hope Iginla scores. After watching that tribute video it reminds me how much I truly did love Iggy as a player back in the day.

I had tickets, but got stuck in Regina... the dome is going to be ridiculous... I remember being there just for the game after he was traded, and he wasn't even in the place...

Game of the year if you are a Flames fan, bar none. I'll be watching on TV, giving him my own standing ovation.

I will be cheering at the Dome for Iggy to play well and hopefully score a goal but hoping the Flames take the 2 pts. Have been a Bruins fans since before the Flames arrived but I always cheer for the Flames to win in spite of that.
I hope the fans give Iggy a good reception.

i'm hoping the flames win and that iggy gets a goal - just to see how they announce it in the dome

i've been cheering for the flames a lot longer than the bruins... sorta jumped on the b's bandwagon when they played (and thankfully beat) the canucks in the finals and never really got off - you do realize how much fun it is to wear a bruins jersey in bc right?!?!

GO FLAMES GO!!!

5 minute montage with the whole Dome standing ovation.

2-1 Flames, Iggy scores the lone B's goal, crowd cheers all 3 goals. Yes please.

Agreed. Best possible outcome, Jarome hat trick, flames win 4-3. With a last second comeback at the 42 sec marker in off a certain forward defenders skate, Jarome, into the net.

Too bad Monahan isn't in the lineup or even Kipper, would make it that much more interesting.

It's a shame there won't be a sound meter in the Dome tomorrow night. It would be quite interesting to find out what the decibels will be after fans give him a standing ovation.
