Default OOT Dec 8 Bruins Got No Defence

...left after dbag Phaneuf hit Miller from behind with a minute left!

They lost Dougie Hamilton earlier in the game and Boychuk and MacQuaid were already out.

Also they lost Ericksson and Kelly last nite. and Thornton's prob gone for a while.

Time to dial up Chirelli's number Feaster!.... and Aaron Ward.

OH and they smoked the Leafs 5-2 tonite.

Maybe Feaster can trade Butler to the Bruins.

I wonder how Bruin's fans would react to a Chara/Butler pairing.

Julien just confirmed that Hamilton is heading back to Boston rather than going to Calgary.

No word on Miller. Bruins could legitimately be missing four defensemen on Tuesday.

Luongo loses his shutout with 7 seconds left, but Canucks still win 3-1

Roy also pulled Giguere with 5 minutes left and the Canucks failed to score

That + Not Rask starting in goal = Bruins victory Tuesday night.

You know what would be nice? If we could have one thread without someone infesting it with random and pointless Butler hate.

With the words "got no defense" in the title it was only a matter of time

It's really a perfect storm against the bruins cause they are a very deep team on defence... Chara, seidenburg, boychuk, Krug, mcquaid, Hamilton, bartkowski, miller... To have injuries to half of them is some really bad luck.
They'll be fine though... They'll just up Chara's minutes cause it seems like he can just play all night sometimes.

The Bruins are so deep at D it won't be a major problem. It's not like the Leafs who have had their two "top centres" out for a while and have no depth at all at the position.

That Phaneuf hit was pretty dirty. He might get suspended a couple of games, but I think he is playing hurt so it could give him some time to heal.

Chara and Seidenberg both played 26 minutes tonite. Man I wish we had Bartkowski. Time to make Iggy pay for choosing the wrong team.

Go get him Smid! hahahahaha Who would have thought that a year ago!

Iggy got the insurance goal as the Bruins beat up the Leafs 5-2.

Actually, this is an appropriate thread to talk about moving a defenceman, including Butler.

My suggestion is that you chill out and pour yourself a stiff drink and relax. You take these forums too seriously

Panthers came out flat and gave up some early PP goals to the 'Hawks...the final ended up 6-2...Sharp, Seabrook, Hossa, Handzus, Shaw, and Saad scored for the 'Hawks, ex-'Hawk Dylan Olsen and Goc for the Cats...Crawford left in the 1st with a groin injury, and it looked bad. Raanta finished the game, and looks like it will be his net for a while. For now, the 'Hawk offense seems enough to compensate for poor defense and spotty goaltending...but if the O goes cold, this team will scuffle.
