edit: I'm just saying... We didn't go without 2 face punchers on the 4th line for very long. Probably replaces Backlund or Baertschi. Crazy, sad, but true?

Probably the run McGrattonne took at the Coyotes player - he missed and ended up full steam into the boards. Finished his shift and then went immediately off.

Lane cleared waivers on November 22nd.
He can be sent down again without needing to go back on them if he plays less then 10 games prior to December 22nd.

What's the status with McGrattan? What exactly is wrong with him?
This will be fun to see CP overreact to Hartley playing 1 guy (maybe 2 if you count O'Brien who has been in and out of the lineup) in 20 who has the ability to win a fight and protect small players like Hudler, Cammalleri, Baertschi, Russell, Byron etc. and also take a regular 4th line shift, rather than play someone like Max Reinhart who hasn't exactly blown anyone away with his talent at the NHL level. Face it CP, having a legitimate tough guy in the lineup is necessary when you have a generally small and soft roster.
