I have no faith in the artistic integrity of anyone who records video in that orientation.

Holy crap, those first three sounds all sounded the same with the middle one sounding like an electronic version (but not faster).

honestly, I wasn't a fan in the 90's, didn't hate the songs, but got tired of hearing them again. Hated the videos as the face the guy makes creeps me out and stroking the bald guys head is weird. That said, the thread topic had the song in my head before even looking and not hearing them in probably 10 years. Listed to moist thinking that was the song in my head, I was right. Went to push, thought that was the song in my head, went back to moist, back to push, and finally back to moist to determine "no, they're not the same song".

Anyway... That's cool if you like the music!

Moist were really entertaining the times I caught them live in the mid-90s. I haven't thought about them in years, nor did it register with me that they had broken up.

Might be fun to catch this show.

Call me when Haywire reunites, though.

I really enjoyed Moist as a band, but wasn't crazy about David Usher's solo stuff. He broke up the band too soon.

Course reuniting them now, they're kinda irrelevant. They were easy to like back in the day cause you could catch them at a lot of free shows and they had a ton of energy. They really fit that teenage, college vibe. Hard to see them moshing or crowd surfing now. Always felt Push was a perfect moshing song.

I ran into David Usher once when I was shopping for clothes. Well, not ran into so much as had all the female help in the store (which was all the help at that moment) go swoon after him while I wanted to get help finding something. Kinda a funny moment.

He did seem a little embarrassed by it though. Maybe he felt my pain, haha.

I'm pretty excited about this. I've enjoyed both Moist and Usher's solo stuff.

I remember the lead guitarist was named Mark Makaroff or something like that. And the drummer was bald. But I was into the band for a period of time.

I was excited about this 10 years ago. I do remember saying, I wish Moist would get back together. This may be 10 years too late.

I loved Moist back in the day... Silver, Ten and 36 Chambers were my three first CD's.

I would like to see them live, maybe they will add some more Western Canadian dates.

Good band that I totally forgot about, thanks for this. I have new gym music for the weekend..

Haha, Moist is brutal! I think them and The Tea Party are my two least favorite bands from that 90's Can-Rock scene.

Moist sounded bad back then and even worse now. Very agitating sound/delivery. Likely not even the best band from Vancouver in their time. Would have to give that to Pure who used to open for them. This song still sounds ok today : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqAW8K3ReMc If I heard Push today I wouldn't last 8 seconds into it before I would Push to skip/change. They don't even belong for free at the rodeo.

I always thought they were just terrible. Their sound was so contrived and they should be on their hands and knees thanking the CRTC for making radio stations play them.

The Tea Party is easily my favorite Canadian band ever. So much talent in those three guys. Talking about bands with a drummer, they actually have one. Jeff Martin plays about a dozen different instruments (literally), they slide between the genres of rock, heavy rock, world music, and electro. Even some singer/songwriter stuff in their early career.

Man oh man, how can you hate The Tea Party?!

Saw them once with a full 90 piece orchestra and an East Indian section. Amazing!

I will admit Jeff Martin's solo project was not that great and I haven't heard anything interesting since they got back together. But back in the day? A very underrated band.
