The next Joel Otto? I'd be fine with that.

I would love for him to turn into a decent faceoff guy. It would be great if he started to use his size a bit more too, maybe some strength training with Gary Roberts in the off season would help

This is an area the Flames have not been good at in the past. It would be great if Colborne turns into another Joel Otto and be the guy we can rely on when there's a key face off we need to win.

I like the icetime he has been getting

We just gotta keep him below 10 goals and 35 points!!!! We should bench him if he gets close

A good five games, for sure. Let's see if he can finish the season above 50%.

The impressive thing is those numbers are against top teams in the face off circle

Is that really a condition? I thought it was if we made the playoffs?

If this continues, between him and Knight, our 3rd/4th line Centers should both be awesome in the circle. That would be huge if we are wanting to be a contending team in a few years.

LA - 1st
Anaheim - 18th
Chicago - 9th
Florida - 23rd
Columbus - 10th

3 of those teams are very good at faceoffs.

It's that and we have to make the playoffs. Both things or nothing.

What does the 4th turn into if the condition is met?

3rd. Still worth it but it is a lock to be a 4th

Personally I hope the pick turns into a 3rd. That would mean we have a very solid young centre prospect in the system, something we haven't had many of lately.

Making the playoffs is always good. Not happening this year, but would be good nonetheless.
