Default CFL 2013 Season Thread

Season kicks off today with Montreal and Winnipeg playing tonight.

No other sports league captivates me like the CFL. It's full of quirky rules and the NFL has the best athletes and coaches, but #thisisourleague

Here's to a fun season!

Predictions:

West:
BC
Calgary
Saskatchewan
Edmonton

East:
Montreal
Toronto
Hamilton
Winnipeg

No crossover this year.
BC over Toronto in the Grey Cup.
Lulay wins MOP

They brought out some former Bomber greats to open the stadium which I thought was a nice touch. Stegall then came out in game gear and the crowd was going crazy. Then Dunigan pulled on a Bombers' jersey and threw Stegall a pass. I thought it was pretty cheesy.

Montreal just went up 14-0 off of a punt return TD. Winnipeg looks bad

CFL being the CFL.

Gotta admit the new stadium looks nice though. The CFL needs more venues like that so it can be viewed as a more credible league. The atmosphere is completely different.

Why did Sean Whyte need to run around in the endzone with 34 minutes left in the game and they're only up by 1 TD? I dont get that tactic at all? why waste few seconds you might just need yourself?

One of my pet peeves of the CFL. I could understand if they had a small lead and there was barely time left in the game. But there's almost 5 mins left in the half. take a freaking knee.

Winnipeg's new stadium looks great, great venue to start the 2013 CFL season. And apparently the Bombers respond well to Tom Cochrane!

After a terrible NHL season i'm really looking forward to this CFL season. Good clean fun without the millionaire attitudes.

Tough loss for the bombers, gotta love Buck's heart but it's hard to believe that this is finally the year he can go without significant injury off time. Stadium looks fantastic, makes me want a replacement for McMahon.

Ham 24 - Tor 22 midway through the second quarter. We've got ourselves a shootout!

Is Dunigan drunk commenting on this game?! Im finding him very unbearable this game. Usually I can stand him a little bit but honestly this game is testing me. Gord Miller keeps trying to joke with Dunigan and it seems like Duniagn gets lost it in it! Anyways just a little vent in a good game so far.

what a bizarre reaction by Burris on the last play of the game, he actually thought that ball was caught for the TD. He is must be nuts.
