Bon Jovi + Tortonto + NFL
On the drive in to work this morning, I heard them saying something about Bon Jovi wanting to buy Buffalo and move them to Toronto? Anyone else hear about this?
I don't care much for football so no biggie for me but I do kind of worry about what would happen to the CFL if the NFL starts coming in to Canada.
Thoughts?

As a Bills fan, I hope it doesn't happen, but it's totally going to. Toronto has been an awful, awful NFL crowd. Maybe it will be different when it's actually their team, but I doubt it.

Forgot one other part. Why the hell would Bon Jovi want to buy a team and put it in Toronto of all places? I THINK I heard them say he was chummy with the owners of MLE, did I hear that part right?

In fairness, they've been treated to triple/quadruple the ticket prices of regular Bills tickets. Not too sure what people expect when they gouge the consumer that hard.

But I also heard on the radio that they still make more money when they play in Toronto than in Buffalo. I don't know if they were misleading with that though.
I think Toronto could support both. If not, I move the Argos to Kingston or Moncton.

It's just a matter of time before Toronto gets into the NFL.. and this is exactly how things should go when it happens. Lots of people around there they can easily keep both teams going strong.

i understand that Ralph Wilso is getting older and no longer attends games - once he passes on, his family may be open to selling the team and JBJ is apparently interested in making even more money that he has - seems like a good fit for all with the exception of the CFL......

I'm wondering how much of an impact this would have on a second nhl team in southern ontario. I"m not sure Toronto could handle the mlb, nfl, nba and two nhl teams.
I think the nhl may have made a mistake in not putting a second team in the area while the market was hot. I can see a bit of cooling off once an nfl team shows up.
