Calgary should come out of the West pretty easily, but there's a huge level difference between the Western School programs and the Eastern School programs.

Dinos advance to a 6th straight Canada West final with a 42-28 win over UBC earlier today at a snowy McMahon Stadium.

Dinos lead the Bisons 26-7 at the half - Timmis is running great and Buckley has made some very nice throws in the first 30 minutes.

Dinos have just won their 6th straight Hardy Cup - Next up, Western (that's gonna be a tough one).

Well done boys!

Western are beasts - only twice have the Mustangs been held to less than 50.

Would be quite the feat if Dinos could win this one.

The biggest problem the Dinos have is that there is very little competition in Canada West. But kudos to the Dinos for winning their 6th straight conference title, particularly with a much younger roster this time around.

As a Western alumnus, I plan on going to the UWO - U Calgary game on Saturday. I think it's the first college football game I'm attending since the 1995 Vanier Cup, when Calgary defeated Western in SkyDome. Man, was I drunk at that game.

No offense to my adopted city, but Go Stangs Go!

They will get dominated by Laval, but Mount Allison in the semi-finals is awesome to see. My family has gone there for generations, so I have an attachment to them. For a while I was surprised to see they still had a football team.

I just looked and in 2012/2013 they had 2678 undergrads. Laval has 10x the student body to choose from.

It is only because of university athletics (mainly football and basketball) that I know many of the smaller Canadian universities.

Does the terrible weather forecast for tomorrow give the Dinos an advantage?

I cannot believe I am still planning on going to this game.

I think so.

It seems a bit unfair that the top team in the country has to travel West to play a road game in the cold.

If it's a cold day, I like having a QB named Buckley...

Is there anyone braving the weather today? Weather is the great equalizer in sports. Dinos are in tough but they've got a shot
