Ottawa stops Chicago's winning streak by shutting down both Giroux and Couture. Blackhawks' dman are all fatigued, gladly taking a day off before battling the high-scoring Penguins.
Tim Thomas got his first start as a Jacket and was excellent in the 3-1 win while also receiving 1st Star. Sedin-Sharp-Thornton are really starting to click and it has taken us awhile but it looks like we finally have a solid 1st line. Plekanec chipped in on the PP which was nice but rumors are swirling that he might be on his way out of Columbus.

Massive win to take over the top spot in league standings. Gonchar was big in this one with 4 helpers and Skinner continued his hot start with another 2 goals.

Pretty crazy how many times we have played so far. Of the 18 games played 5 came against the Sabres and 4 against the Habs.
