I don't think so since Stempy was activated yesterday.

Breen was activated off IR today as well though, so that probably was the reason.

Does this mean Ferland is moved down the Heat roster, just as he gets going?

Hartley was happy with Reinhart, got demoted due to numbers-game.

Invisible and made no impact; whether it be checking, blocking shtos etc.

A poor showing.

Did he say that, or do you get that feeling?

Just curious

They'll probably make a trade to make room for Reinhart as it sounds like they're happy with him and want him up here on the big club.

He'll be the next TJ Brodie.

I thought he did fairly well, and he will be back. There will be more injuries, and you can bet that management wants to see what they have in some of their prospects at the NHL level, and how they are developing. I would imagine there will be a rotation of a few guys getting some looks throughout the season.

It is a good carrot to dangle anyways, and it helps make the kids down there work that much harder all the time.

He'll finish the season in Calgary, I am sure.

Until he grows the power feathered mullet and drug dealer mustache he will find himself going back and forth between the Flames and the Heat. The kid needs an identity, and lots of gold chains

I love his energy. Plays a smart game. He's well-suited to the bottom 6 & could play a full NHL season, IMO.

what would he need to do to be an NHL regular? What should we be watching develop in his skill set?

No kidding! He was called up as an injury replacement but now that Stempniak is back, Flames needed to trim down their roster.
