Team Canada Jerseys Leaked?
They have the ugly fake laces

Luckily though, the 3rd jersey is a lot better.
Still, it all looks so cheap.

I don't like it that much now, but a bit of gold would sure bring it all together

Well, at least he looks suitably embarrassed.
Looks like those sweatshirts that were popular in the 80s (Mondetta?).

Not really a fan of those. The Nike jerseys overall have been miss.

Take away the shiney gloss leaves on the shoulders and the dumb fake laces and I actually really like it. Plain and simple. The way it should be.

It kind of looks like a rain poncho. I think it will look decent over shoulder pads though... with more body under the jersey. I do love that red.

Why do they have to follow the US template and have those plastic leafs on the shoulders? It doesn't add anything to that...put on some regular leafs on there at least, or none at all.
Or the faux laces in the same plastic?
I realize the almighty dollar rules the day, and Nike has more or less free reign, that said, Hockey Canada shouldn't have to accept any crap Nike throws at them. This isn't 1982 Cameroon in the World Cup who gets whatever template the jersey manufacturer decides

Nothing beats the old 70's Canada Cup jersey for me. One of, if not the best, jerseys of all time imo. These should be standard issue.

Looks like a fake recoloring of the US jersey.
Does not align with the design rumors i have heard. (Same source that told me flames were getting new thirds)

They are slightly better than the US jerseys. Not sure who is designing these things, but they should be fired.

They should check thier stock from 2002, and just use those ones. They were perfect

My guess is that the stuff on the shoulders and the fake laces are there to make it more difficult for the Chinese knock-off makers to replicate.
They remind me of the weird stripes that Nike added to the NFL jerseys last year. I'm sure it's also why we've been seeing teams adding text and designs to the inside of their collars and stuff like the guitar string stripes on the numbers on the Predators' jerseys.
