Great write up.

Mr. Clutch

Mike Cammalleri. Every game I watch he continues to impress. He got the momentum started in the third and as he often does made no mistake when the puck found his stick around the slot. Kris Russell with an energetic game as well
I'm wondering if it is a given that he is a trade deadline move. This team would look very weak without him. I'd say we should re-sign him.

OT goal was Backlund's fault, in my opinion. Let Stuart get around him easily at the Sharks' blue line, then let him skate unabated, through the D.

I'm almost feeling like it has to be a given, if he continues this play.

At this rate he's bound to fetch an Iginla or Bouwmeester type return near the deadline. Throw in the fact he's always performed well in the playoffs and I can see a lot of teams showing interest.

You could always potentially resign him come summer, although usually a team ponying up that kind of return has the sense that they can resign him. Not always the case though; see Iginla and Pittsburgh.
