Detroit plays is unlike most western teams. They aren't physical. Edmonton is just awful.

Nice 4-2 win for the Jets but the Red Wings sure had their chances while shorthanded and did get a SHG. Montoya was in goal for the Jets as Pavlec has been average. The Ducks squeak out a 2-1 reg win over the Rangers at MSG and sweep their season series. Andersson was excellent in goal for Anaheim. The Rangers took brutal penalties late in the 3rd period including a too many men penalty while trying to pull Lundqvist for the extra attacker. Ducks end their 8 game road trip with a 5-2-1 record.
