Shots Fired At LAX
Just heard about this, turned CNN on, they are reporting. Paramedics are shown treating a few people but it looks like they possibly got hurt fleeing the scene. No real word about what's going on. Two people from Mythbusters - Tory & Grant - have tweeted the following, with pictures but the tweets have since been deleted:

I've been following #poltwt this morning - a bunch of police forces around the globe live tweeting what is happening. It's pretty much been just routine stuff, PR puffery and the like. The closest thing to action was the ctrain crash here.
Then the LAPD tweeted they were on tactical alert due to a "major incident" at LAX
Apparently police shot a man with a high powered rifle and terminal 3 has been evacuated

“People started saying there’s a shooter, there’s a shooter,” said Natalie Morin, a senior at USC who was heading to San Francisco for a graduate school interview.
Emergency crews responded to a multi-patient incident, Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey said.
Terminal 3 is home to Virgin America and other airlines.
