Simply put, win or lose it is not as exciting without Sven or McGrattan in the line up.
Time for Glencross and Jackman to watch from above.
I would also like to see them go back to Ramo on Saturday.

Had to know games like this were coming. Hell, games like this happen to perennial conference/division winners every season. It's all a process, and a process I have been hoping would happen for the last couple of seasons. I'm fully prepared to be patient, take the lumps, put my emotions in check with reality, and get ready for the next one.
Go Flames Go.

Burke & Hartley: Well..... the reason why we benched Sven and not Glennie, is that Glennie can play 2 out of the 18 zones we assigned for him really well.

In the first 5 games of the season the team came out and outworked the opposition. That combined with maybe some teams coming out of preseason a little rusty paved the road for a surprising start. That work ethic has started to slide and tonight was a complete no-show. The team has to get back to working hard and the defensemen have to be smarter in their own end.
1-4 on the toughest road trip of the season. Only a point worse than what I thought. I was definately pro benching sven for 1 game as he was loosing the jump he had in the LA and Phoenix games.
Next game someone else, perferably glencross, gets a night off.
