My SportsAction picks are Blues and Ducks to win.

I
agree. At least, this is the only Friday in October and November to have such few games.

Seems like a weird schedule so far this season. There never seem to be a lot of games on.

Stinks how the Flames have only played once this week.

yeah ... if there's one thing I miss from the shortened season, it's the tight schedule.

Yesterday had a dozen games on the schedule. Saturdays are quite busy and so are Tuesdays.

This season will still be more crammed together then usual because of the Olympics.

yup ... the problem I have with it so far is that they don't have a lot of balance this year. There's days with 10 games followed by days with 2 or 3 ... as a fan I'd simply prefer two days with 5 or 6 each. Yesterday and today are prime examples. Or next week - they have 8 games on Tuesday, then just 2 on Wednesday and then again 10 on Thursday. Just seems a little weird to me.

Schedule is always a little light until the end of NFL season anyways, directed from what I heard from American owners.

That did not look good for Trouba, just launched himself face first into the boards awkwardly.

Yea, id prefer a more balanced schedule also.
The NHL most do it because of ratings.

The Jets tied the game at 1-1 with Jokinen but soon after, Steen scored to make 2-1 Blues by the end of the first period. It is the same score midway through the second period.

Potential Calder finalist carried off the ice on a stretcher. Feels bad man.
