[PGT] Flames Fall To The Ducks 3-2
Gotta love the effort. Stupid Penalties by Butler and Jackman.

If you only lose by 1 with Butler in your lineup that should count for at least a point in the standings.

Yeah, I can live with this game.
Quite a few positives to take from it.

6th game of the season, first loss in regulation play. Didn't give up, made a major push in the third period and controlled the play. No issues with the game tonight.

I'm okay with that. Hard fought game, the guys never gave up and could have won with a bit of luck. I thought MacDonald played very well. We need to improve in the circle as usual.

Good effort....killing a 5 minute sucks!
I mentioned in the game talk but can we get the ruling straight on blowing whistles when a guy goes down. Twice this year they call it in the final seconds when they shouldnt have.
** For those who believe the players safety is important. I agree however the rule book states that the defensive team needs to get possession of the puck in which they didnt. We were actually winding up for another slap shot. I believe the rule needs to be changed for the officials to wait 3 seconds and judge the situation. That said, the rule is what it is right now and the wrong call was made tonight.

Good effort. One day we will win a game in that arena. I like Jiri Hudler

The third period was pretty good, but the first two periods were boring.
Not a bad game by the Flames, just too many defensive miscues. Didn't see a lot of Butler after his F up.
I'd like to see Smith in for Butler, and Blair Jones in for Jackman next game.

Great effort. One quibble: didn't think that Street should have been on the ice for the last minute.

Great effort. Colborne looked really good, I thought Wideman was good too (noticed him race first to the puck in the offensive zone on 1 shift!). Have to say, sometimes Glencross just looks like the odd man out as far as effort goes.

Arguable that Flames actually outplayed the Ducks after the first. If it wasn't for two very bad mistakes, Flames may have even won the game.

Tough game with a bouncing puck and no flow
A couple bad giveaways, but otherwise a solid effort

My renewed love for this team is quickly fading as Hartley continues to give Glencross icetime he does nothing to deserve.
What was with that weak backhand pass to nobody with like 10 seconds left on the clock?
Wake up Hartley!!

I've defended Butler in the past, but man, he should have no place on the Flames going forward.
