Daily Show and Colbert Report taken off Comedy?

Just noticed I had no PVR recordings this week for Colbert and the Daily Show, so I went through the guide to see if my series recording screwed up. They have Comedy specials during that timeslot all week.

I couldn't imagine they got dropped, as the ratings are likely good. I know CTV dropped Colbert in favour of Late night with Jimmy Fallon, which is the only reason I switched my series recordings of these two shows to the Comedy Network.

Anyone heard anything?

They are not on this week. Comedy doesn't usually air repeats, just new shows.

Ah damn, if I knew it was that simple I wouldn't have started a whole thread over it. I thought there was some huge decision that would be discussed.

I guess I just got used to my CTV series recording where they always aired an episode whether it was new or not, so I got accustomed to always seeing 4 episodes a week at the top of my recordings.

I was wondering too, because last week The Daily Show was on, but Colbert wasn't.

I wish I had a better source than "Fagstein", but he's saying that Colbert has been taken off CTV, and replaced by Jimmy Fallon.
