I think the only possible problem with that is that it might push the banner ad too far down, and typically ad providers have requirements about the visibility of their ads.
Plus I'd need an online source of the information that is easy to manipulate and I could use for free.
Though I guess that's probably more relevant than the weather widget.

Keep the weather widget! Very handy, Environment Canada is just a click away!

Someone could start a thread and post the standings or a screen shot of it each day. That should make everbody happy.

Could you put it after the banner ad? I don't mind scrolling further to see the standings, and I'm sure the NHL won't feel bad about the reduced visibility.

How about more of a 'draft watch' with the flames and +/- ~2 teams above and below them.

Nobody can make out what the weather widget is trying to say anyways.

What's up with Today's Hockey? I noticed it was running way behind during games, and now it's just decided to hit the golf course with the Canucks?

Not sure, the XML feed that's parsed to get the info hasn't updated for a while, it was kind of a undocumented feed, possibly whatever's used to feed that feed changed or broke too.
If I could find another source of scores in XML or JSON format I could update it.

Where'd the weather widget go? Put it back! It's not your widget, give it back!

They retired the widget I was using and the replacement doesn't go nearly small enough. I spent some time looking yesterday for one but couldn't find one that a) had current conditions as well as forcasts b) fit, and and c) didn't look like ass.
I'll keep looking.

TBQH, I couldn't even read it. I just used it as a link to get to environment canada to see the forecast. I would actually click on cp in my bookmarks, let it open, and then click on the widget to check the weather.
