No TV for Oct 24th game versus the Stars???

Anyone know why? I thought we were getting all 82 games on TV this year.

I remember as a kid waiting up on school night just to see 11:30 Flames highlights which would only end up showing about 3 goals of an untelevised 7-5 game in Quebec City. Times certainly have changed.

Remember when games were being played in Los Angeles and Vancouver (and later San Jose) you would not get the score until 36 hours after the game ended because the Herald printing presses would start before the game ended.

^ The old Headline Sports channel (Channel 30 in CGY) was revolutionary. I though scores in real time were the greatest things since sliced bread.

I remember dialing in to hear an automated recording tell me the box score of every game.......good thing it was a local call!

I remember when there was no games on TV. it was 19 dickety two. We had to say dickety 'cause that Kaiser had stolen our word twenty. I chased that rascal to get it back, but gave up after dickety six miles.
