Catch TSN's Top 50 List Tonight at 6!
Just going to start this thread now since I am sort of intrigued to see how the list plays off. They can't do any worse than ESPN's list, but lets see how much TSN's bias truly shows.
Will TSN favorites like Kessel and Hall make the top 20? Perhaps even the top 10? Kadri in the top 50?
We all know who number one is, but who is number two? Ovechkin, Malkin, Toews, or perhaps Datsyuk?
Top goalie? It will probably be Lundqvist or Quick, but I think Rask and Niemi could also be in that conversation based of their play last season.
Then for defensemen, will there be a Subban bias with all the media buzz surrounding him last year? He shouldn't finish in the top five defenders (Suter, Weber, Chara, Kieth, Doughty, and Pietrangelo are all better), but what will TSN say?
Oh and after missing out on the ESPN list will Bobby Ryan crack the top 50 at all? Probably not, but wouldn't be shocked if he did.

Kessel should be in the top 20. Not sure what TSN's bias towards the Leafs have to do with it.

What I find even better is what overrated player is a fan base going to cry about because they didn't make the top 50.

Blah these lists are boring as crap. They should have a top 50 list of the worst players in the NHL!

Whoop whoop! Sharp is 47!
That means likely 4-5 Blackhawks on the list for sure.
Kessel was 43, so not even close to top 20.

Yeah, but with the Eastern bias they might not be willing to put Monahan that high.

If the Flames get a player on the top 50 it's just pandering...

Me neither, but I imagine some fans will perceive this as a slight and proof of TSN hating the Flames and so on and etc.

If Kessel is at 43, then I doubt any Flames make the list. Giordano, Glencross and Cammy are probably the highest ranked Flames at this point I would think, and I would assume they are all below Kessel.

Top 3:
3. Toews
2. Malkin
1. Crosby
Seems about right. I figured Toews would get cut down some after his disappointing playoffs.

Here is the list. Parise at 23, which is way too high IMO. He is ahead of a number of guys he has no business being ahead of.
And how does Dustin Brown make this list. Outside of the playoffs, there is no way he is a top 50 player in the NHL.
