Financial Planning Courses/Info

So I'm looking to take the Personal Financial Planning course at MRU that starts tomorrow and I was wondering if anyone had any reviews of it or whether anyone had taken anything similar elsewhere that they'd recommend.

Is this a course to become a financial planner, or a course to teach you so you can do things on your own?

OK, I know one of the teachers of the CFP course there, and I *think* it starts tomorrow as well. Sorry, nothing to add about the other course though.

It says something about providing a foundation for CFP stuff, but it's evening and there's couples rates so this one looks more personal. Taught by Robert McCullagh.

Ya, its definitely not the same one. The one I could provide insight or comments on is the actual CFP course. Like I say, I know the teacher and actually know someone in the course this semester as well. Plus I have my CFP. I don't know much about specific personal planning courses though, but it looks like your teacher has good credentials and experience.
