That's actually pretty great because it's a litmus test: basically, anyone who picked the Ducks to come out of the Pacific is a moron who knows nothing about hockey. So we can easily dismiss a bunch of those guys.

They went to the conference finals 2 years ago and are easily a better team They have great goaltending, coaching, that dfense is going to be great with perhaps the best 1-2 punch in the NHL, and Ribeiro is a perfect fit.

Can we not use the word "idiots" so loosely? Because you don't agree with someone's prediction doesn't make them an idiot.

If you predict someone who's been sent back to junior to win the Calder, that's one thing. But who knows when the deadline for the submission was. It's possible he hadn't been sent back yet.

But let's keep it civilized, no?
