Default Galliardi and Fata

..................play for the Dundee CCS Stars!!!!

These guys are my home team back in the UK and have a really passionate albeit small support.

I was watching their latest game on youtube and couldn't help but laugh when I saw Galliardi and Fata in their line up. Must surely make them honorary Flames???

Also noticed they use Ring of Fire as a goal song too lol

Great little stadium (Dundee Ice Arena) with a great atmosphere and maybe the Dome could learn a few things from these guys

If I can get my folks to send me one then I may be rocking a CCS Stars top on occasion at the Dome this year so you'll know me if you see me

*Sorry - shameless plug for my "wee team"*

They're no Guildford Flames.

Instead of having a shootout, they can draw to the button.

I played there a few years back with the Latvian Hawks. Back when the Stars were in the SNL and Celtic Cup league.

I noticed former Calgary Flame Stefan Meyer scored the 3rd goal for the Steelers (with an assist from former Hitmen Dustin Kohn).

Yes! It sounds so weird listening to the accent.

There's a reason the Irish and Scots like hockey, it's similar to another game the celtic cultures seem to be fond of.

I feel that I should point out that:

a) hockey is bigger in Scotland than you think

b) Scottish refs are absolutely brutal. I've seen visiting (nom-Scottish) teams play 20-30 mins on the PK. Not such an issue with the Elite league, but some other leagues get pretty bad.

c) There are lots of puck bunnies in Scotland. They are mostly pretty hot. They are ALL underage.
