Good to see Selig stand his ground on this one though the union is still fighting it. This is where unions tick me off in professional sports. Tell me why this jerk doesn’t deserve 20 games for throwing around a camerman?

Good to see Selig didn't back down but this decision should have been made much quicker and Selig should have challenged the players union and banned Rogers from the All-Star game.

Bud did the right thing in this instance but it is time for him to go. He is the worst and weakest commissioner in sports and this is coming from a guy that tends to support him more so than most people do.

Its about time...I still don't know why it took so long for Selig to get his act together.

I'm glad it's upheld, but 20 games is a joke.

IMO the real joke is how long it took for this to get settled.

Yeah, no doubt he's been playing for a month since he was suspended. To boot he's also a starting pitcher so it's really like a 4 or 5 game suspension. Thats where MLB is a total joke, just keep appealing your suspension until you get a run of push over opponents and than withdraw your appeal. There should be no appealing of suspensions period. I mean say Ortiz gets a 4 game suspension and the Sox have to play the Yankees that weekend, and than have a 4 game set against the Royals after that. All they do is announce they'll appeal the suspension, the hearing is scheduled two weeks down the road. Ortiz plays the series and than withdraws the appeal, and than sits out when his team doesn't really need him. It's just stupid.

Selig is pretty useless, I definitely agree with that one. The only reason he did anything on the drug issue was because the goverment was threatening involvement. He sure wasn't in a hurry when McGwire, Sosa and Bonds were hitting everything out of the park.
