Filipino man has 19 operations to become Superman
Quote:
The 35-year-old, from Calamba City, Philippines, has had nose jobs, skin whitening, liposuction, jaw realignment, pectoral implants and even abdominal implants to become a real-life Clarke Kent.
Herbert first fell in love with the super hero - famed for his red cape and 'S' logo - when he was five-years-old watching him on television.
Over the next 30-years he has spent around 300,000 Pesos (£4,400) on his obsession - a fortune compared to the average 90p hourly wage in the Philippines.
Herbert regularly takes to the streets around his home dressed in full Superman regalia, with his hair gelled in distinctive curly fashion. He aims to teach children good morals while also brightening their day.
Herbert said: "I feel like a Superhero whenever I pull on the costume, but my mission is not to save the world but to help in my own small way and bring a smile to the faces of local children.

My 4-year old wants to be She-Ra when she grows up. I thought it was a cute idea until I saw this guy.

I am not exactly sure if this guy has ever seen a Superman movie. Whatever work he had done below the neck is completely obscured by that ridiculous costume.
The camel toe and squished genitalia are deeply disturbing. Must go gouge my eyes out now. Thanks.

Somebody forgot to tell him that going to the gym and eating more is cheaper than getting ab and pec implants.

There's a show on T.V. called Hero's of Cosplay. The amount of work and effort that these people put into their costumes borders on the psychotic.
Then I saw this guy . . . .
I don't recall Supes costume being all wrinkly and ill fitting in the comics or movies.

I like seeing really weird people in costumes because it makes me feel relatively normal.
