Flames that will be on start of season roster that are not playing this game: Baertschi Cammalleri, Hudler ( the 3 most skilled Flames) plus David Jones, and Jackman as forwards and Butler on defense.
only 4 new to the NHL players in the lineup - Monahan, Rienhart, McKnight and Ferland
This will be the biggest lineup that the Flames have dressed since at least the Cammelleri for Bourque trade.

It seems like an odd decision to sit Baertschi... Correct me if I'm wrong, but he hasn't played any of the pre-season games at the Dome so far (he played in the split squads in Edmonton & Regina as far as I know). I was particularly disappointed by that as I caught both the previous home games & was hoping to see Sven play live for the first time!
