Flames 2 Sharks 3
Really didnt like Backlunds risky play pinching on that final goal but he had a great game and Sven was our best player in the O and D zone through the first 2! Butler has been better than average lately!
If not for Berra we get blown out but good to see the team bounce back in the third!

It was a small miracle to get into OT at all after having 6 shots through 2 periods.
Cammalleri has 8 in 11 games.

Kind of stole a point with a single period effort. Time for this team to actually begin a game strong and stop playing catchup.
Oh and TJ Brodie is terrible. As soon as I saw him step on the ice in OT I knew the game was over. Once Giordano is back I would like to Brodie and Butler stick together as the 3rd paring and put Smid with Gio as the top pairing. Brodie needs his ice time reduced.

Great final push, nice to see they don't give up. Now start playing the first 40 as well

wow, got a point despite only having 5 shots on net thru 2 periods.
russel was real good, stajan was good, berra was awesome.
quickly forget this one, and hope to have a better 3 zone effort next game.
i am less and less convinced that backlund can be a scoring line center in this league. pretty sad, always hoped to see him turn the corner, but just not getting that vibe any longer.

Monahan gets on the board, Flames end their PP drought, Flames get 1 point against the Sharks.
For 20 minutes of work, that's great.

I honestly question whether you watched the game. Outside of his gaffe late in the game he was solid all night.

Had to be Stuart... that GD bag of marshmellows. Still burns me that Ference and Kobasew got traded for that no heart turd.
Almost unbelievable the Flames got anything from this game. Monahan's faceoff win for the first goal was nice to see as is Cammy's continued scoring.

Berra and the push back in the 3rd stole 1 point. Butler circled away and gave away his own blue line and the bonus point.

yeah way too soft. He actually played a pretty good game. Still you can't chance it on put him out there in OT. Smid needs to bump him down the depth chart.
