Help finding a song...
I was (at least) of legal drinking age when the Flames won the cup in 1989, just to put my age in perspective. I remember pre-internet days when tracking down a song was a lot of work, and a bit of an art-form itself.
However, one song always escaped me and it still does to this day. I used to listen to Hockey Talk on QR77 a lot. After almost every game during the eighties I would be listening to Henderson's show, putting the radio in my room on a timer.
After the show, there was a strange music program, don't remember much about it but it had a really eclectic play list. There was one song in particular, an acoustic guitar instrumental. I think there may have been one word of lyrics, at some point the guitarist might have said, "Innuendo"?
Anyway, long shot I know but maybe, just maybe, there are some old timers who remember. What the heck was that song? The tune still goes through my head on occasion.
