Default Saskatoon man's life in danger after firing Hells Angels

http://www.calgaryherald.com/touch/n...tml?rel=841484

"A Saskatoon man's life is in danger after he did what no other Canadian business owner has dared to attempt - he got rid of the Hells Angels.

And from now on, anyone working for Xtreme Mining and Demolition will be required to deny in writing any connection to a "criminal organization" such as the Hells Angels.

"If you are associated with these type of groups, we've got a problem. You are out of here," said Xtreme owner Leonard Banga.

The Hells Angels were purged from Xtreme's ranks following multiple death threats and other intimidation, as well as attacks on Banga and an employee.

Now, with the possibility of revenge looming, Saskatoon police have issued Banga a rare "Duty to Warn." Police informed Banga his life is in danger. He remains unmoved."

Props to this guy. Get these scumbags of of our streets and give them no way to earn a living to further their crime network. A couple HA guys losing their jobs might not make a huge difference but at least there are people willing to stick up to these criminals.

Pretty cool story, but it kinda sounds like his life and business were already in danger as they had already infiltrated somehow. So purging them is kinda necessary.

Didn't know you guys had Hell's Angels up there. A long time ago the Outlaws kinda took over some mom and pop bars on the beach. One of the bars was mysteriously destroyed in a fire when they tried to get rid of them

Anywhere that there is money to be made selling drugs the HA will set up. Saskatchewan had a pretty good run the past few years with a lot of construction of Potash mines along with Oil and gas. The result was lots of camp workers with a nice daily living allowance. Same with Northern Alberta it's one of the most lucrative markets for the drug trade.

Good for this guy.

I can't stand how these #######s, attempt to legitimize their organization.

They are pieces of #### and should be treated as such.

I find them really visible in Kelowna compared to Alberta, dirty scummy jersey shore looking guys in their 20s/30s with stripper girlfriends driving blacked out land rovers and other high end vehicles all over the place... I've heard more than one person at work say that there have been grow ops run by the biker gangs in fairly nice houses in their neighborhoods that ended up getting busted. I think its a pretty big cash crop for them in interior bc.

Personally am hoping pot gets legalized and heavily regulated eventually and rips away their funding lifeblood because I agree with undercoverbrother.... while the rest of us are paying taxes and working our asses off these scumbags are living better than alot of us.

Legalizing weed wont change that. They are into WAY more than just reefer. If I was to guess they probably make more on extortion than anything else.

At any rate, this guy may be "brave" and "doing the right thing" per se, but he is a complete idiot as well, especially that is as public as it is.

HA guys are not going to take kindly to this and there will be retribution sooner or later....dont like this dudes chances of avoiding either financial or physical pain in the near future.

I'm interested in some reading material on the Hells Angels...anyone have some good options?

I live in a building across the way from an HA, and by far the most annoying thing he does is race into the parking lot with his loser buddies and their loud bikes.

If you have netflix you might look for some documentaries about them. I'm not sure what your netflix has compared to ours.

I've read a number of books on biker gangs. This is my favourite

I have over a dozen books on them and always enjoy reading about them.
These are my favs:

About the biker trials and how Mom Boucher was arrested. Very good read.
http://www.amazon.ca/The-Biker-Trial.../dp/155022638X

About Walter Stadnick. Not a household name but a once very powerful Angel.
http://www.amazon.ca/Fallen-Angel-Un.../dp/0470837101

Danny Kane was never a full patch member, but turned informant and there is great debate on the circumstances of his suicide and whether or not he really did kill himself. I really liked this book.

If you want to read a similar infiltration book, but about south of the border, this is a good one, even though the authors arrogance shines through a lot. He's very much full of himself but it's still a decent read.
