CIA 3Web / Shaw Internet BS
Have been with CIA/3Web for almost 5 years, pay $47/mo for internet & phone. No problems at all until now.
Distributel buys out CIA/Web, they start "migrating" everyone over and my internet is disconnected. I never got a letter in the mail and the email on file was old so I didn't contact them, had no idea this was happening.
Why do they have to send a tech over to reconnect?
They simply deactivated my account remotely. I'm guessing the modem MAC address is just refused an IP. But now I have to pay a $30 fee and wait at home for a tech to reconnect me. What in the world is he physically going to do on location?
