The pixelated boxer painted on the overpass on Glenmore westbound, right before Crowchild?
I've seen a couple more pics similar to this one around as well.

I actually think I saw this the other day. It looks too perfect to be painted and looks more like a sticker/painted sign or something of that ilk.

Yah.. it does look like a sticker.

It's more like the second one... the first one has too much definition.

I guess it is MegaMan... It threw me off because the sticker is black and white.

So that answers half my question. Now can someone tell me why someone would be tagging carols Calgary structures with Japanese video game characters?

Isn't that megaman? Looks like megaman from MM 2 and 3. And that would be why he's pixelated.

And he's probably just hanging out for fun. Or to save us from fireman.

It's pretty obvious why he's there. Pretty soon the jumping fish on the Glenmore/5th Street/Elbow interchange will be taken out one by one by his mega buster. After defeating them, he will be able to use a weapon that enables him to walk on water. From there, he will be able to move in on the lions on the Centre Street bridge. Motorists on Glenmore Trail and Centre Street are advised to watch out for falling objects which may resemble any of the following:
