I'm trying to list all the guys who will likely start the year on LTIR and how this would affect teams' cap spending ability, etc. There are some guys questionable or doubtful but I don't know if they are likely LTIR.

Anybody have info to add?

7. Mtl - Emelin - $2.0M - indefinitely - knee
8. NYI - (ADDED) Clutterbuck - $2.75M - 4-6 weeks - leg
9. NYR - Hagelin - $2.25M - 1-2 months - shoulder
10.NYR - Callahan - $4.275M - 1-2months - shoulder
11.Phi - Pronger - $4.94M - all year - concussion
12.Phi - Bourdon - $612K - indefinitely - concussion
13.Phx - Klesla $2.975M - questionable(?) - concussion
14.SJ - Havlat - $5.0M - indefinitely - groin
15.TB - Ohlund - $3.6M - out all year - knee
16.Vcr - Booth - $4.25M - questionable (?) - ankle

I can't imagine he will start the season or play for a couple of months with that Concussion/Whiplast combo he got last night.

TSN updated its list today. Klesla appears to be the one major addition to the injury list that may be more long term. Did I miss anything significant?

I added Klesla to the list of LTIR potentials

Not sure if that is a suspend-able penalty, but I think it should be. Really, really dumb play by Kassian. Gagner is lucky to only have a broken jaw.

I think it's suspendable. I understand that highsticks happen, but it's extremely irresponsible to flail your stick like that. It is total lack of respect for your opponent. That is Matt Cooke stuff right there.

That's a big blow to the Oilers losing Gagner. Not sure they would have made the playoffs before, but with their 2 top centers out i can't see it.

Also heard that the jaw is broken in 2 places.

You will see much more of that from Kassian, he is a stupid player who takes bad penalty after bad penalty. That was the way he played in junior and I don't think he will ever change.
Good for us that he plays for the Nucks, he will cost them many a game like he did for Windsor.

I broke my jaw in two places. Had wires off in 4 weeks.

Gagner should be back by November at the latest I would think.
