Agreed. The whole soundtrack at the Dome needs a serious re-vamping. Its absolutely horrible.
I agree with this, with all if the changes in the locker room I think it is time for a complete overhaul. I really enjoy the cowboy video during some of the goals though.
Mylar disliked song is the 'gut check' montage they play in the third. I secretly believe that it makes the other teams play harder and gives the Flames bad mojo.
I don't like it. But my 14 year old daughter loves it. If that is the demographic the Flames are trying to please. I say job well done.
I actually like the song itself, but as a goal song it's weak.
I understand making a song that gives crowd energy and has a simple chant or sounds fans could do, but Flames could do so much better. They have lacked in that department for as long as I can remember. The goal song should keep fan excitement flowing.
It was suggested in the previous thread, but Sleep Now in the Fire by Rage Against the Machine would be a great candidate. Has everything you want in a goal song. High energy, a simple chant, and team identity related.
If someone from Flames audio department is viewing this, I hope they strongly consider that, or use that as a reference of what to look for in a new goal song. Flames have a great entrance song, as well excellent victory song. They just need to be consistent with the goal song now.

Don't care what it's changed to, but as I said in another thread, the novelty wore off after about 4 games, but that was over 2 years ago. Not sure who it is supposed to appeal to.
Nothing wrong with the AC/DC song, it was a lot more relevant that an electronica voice saying "Barbara Streisand". Heard "Burn this City" played last night; was that an old goal song (circa 2001?) or was that the theme song for an opening montage in/around that era? A remixed version of that may work, and remixed versions of a lot of songs may work.
But, anything is better then that "fabulosly flamboyant" song they have now.
