I didn't like them at first, but I stuck with it and it's growing on me a bit, it seems to do a fair job of filtering off the more spammy type emails (ones I want but aren't important) from my main inbox.
I kind of wish they were arbitrary though, i.e. I could make whatever tabs I wanted based on whatever labels I have or rules I create.

I assume this is a staggered rollout? I don't have them yet.

They've been out for a while now I thought, go to the gear at the top right and there should be a "Configure inbox" option.

I love it. Makes cleaning out my inbox easier and passes all the crap you don't want to a particular tab.
Like a less time consuming label function.

Can't say whether I like it or am annoyed. It's nifty but I already have preset labels and folders, and already delete what I don't want. Probably will turn it off now that I think about it.

I like it. Facebook & Twitter notifications in one tab, daily deals in another and then my actual emails in the primary.

Had an idea!

Way better than labels. Wish we could edit them though and create our own.

I had them in my inbox for the first time today. Switched them off in less than a minute...useless things.

I like them a lot. Seem to be quite accurate in their filtering. Maybe one of the nicest things is no more notifications for promotional stuff on my phone.

It seems to help me keep my inbox as close to zero as possible.

I like it so far, it's really accurate. I was getting emails from personal, social media, spammy type ones and tabs accurately sorted everything together for me the exact way I would have.
So all the meetup stuff I was getting went to social, things like bills went to the primary and groupon stuff went to the third tab.

That's the second comment I've heard like that. I love it on the phone. Mostly becuase the promotional stuff doesn't notify me. I like how they basically group the new promo stuff into one mail item. What don't you like about it?

I can't seem to remove their 'tips/hints' thing at the top of the page.

Honestly I wish they would just stop changing it. It seems like every month I need to dismiss some wizard that's telling me about the latest features or that I need to change my user name (so they an track me better I guess). Just give me the mail please.....
